I am a Graduate Student at the University of Washington, studying Library and Information Sciences. I am
originally from Minnesota though I have lived in New York City for the past two years. I have experience
working in both academic and special libraries, having spent four years working at the Katherine A. Martin
Library at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and one semester interning at the Whitney Museum of American
Art.
Like most future librarians, I greatly enjoy reading. My favorite series are Outlander by Diana Gabaldon,
Cormoran Strike by Robert Galbraith, and Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich. I love travel, and I have
visited seven countries outside of the United States, and 25 U.S. States. During my undergraduate career,
I studied abroad in Worcester, England, for a year. I am excited to be studying abroad again this summer,
spending a month in the Netherlands and Belgium. I am obsessed with giant pandas and have visited multiple
cities and countries to see them in person.
